This notice explains how personal data of visitors to www.giacominconsulting.it and of people who contact me is processed, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data I process and why

• Browsing data. Like every website, the server automatically records technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type. This is needed to run and secure the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is managed by the hosting provider.
• Data you send me when you write. If you email me, I process your name, email address and the content of your message to reply to your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). If a consulting relationship begins, the data is also processed to perform the contract and to meet tax and accounting obligations.

Providing data is optional, but without it I cannot answer your requests.

Cookies and third-party services

This website does not use cookies or tracking and profiling tools, and does not embed external services (maps, videos, fonts or analytics). The site contains a link to my LinkedIn profile: if you open it, your data is processed by LinkedIn according to its own privacy notice.

Recipients

Data may be processed by the hosting and email provider (Aruba S.p.A.), acting as data processor, and by tax or professional advisers where necessary. Data is not disclosed or sold.

Retention

Contact emails that do not lead to a business relationship are kept for the time needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months. Documents related to contracts and tax matters are kept for the periods required by law (normally 10 years).

Your rights

You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and object to processing, by writing to segreteria@giacominconsulting.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
